ASSOCIATE PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Emily Bennett is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in mood disorders, substance use disorder and trauma-informed practice. Emily received a master’s degree in social work in 2015 from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. Prior to pursuing her graduate education, she completed Bachelors of Science in social work, sociology and political science from the University of Utah in 2011. Emily worked in the substance abuse field, primarily with the homeless population, from 2009-2018 as a direct service provider and program director. Most recently she worked in the healthcare field as Behavioral Health Program Manager offering training and technical assistance to Utah’s Health Center Grantees with The Association for Utah Community Health (AUCH). She continues to work in direct clinical practice with The Family Counseling Center in Salt Lake City in addition to her role as Associate Program Director with Trauma Informed Utah.
