Resilient Utah established by Intergenerational Welfare Reform Commission (IWRC)

2018-2019

Resilient Utah and UDOH conducted statewide needs assessment.

Aug 2019

Resilient Utah presented concept for TIU Center for IWRC. It was unanimously approved.

Feb 2020

Resilient Utah hosted the first community planning meeting.

Jul 2020

UDOH designated as sponsor of the TIU Center.

Oct 2020-Apr 2021

Monthly planning meetings held to develop and finalize the TIU Center Proposal.

Apr 2021

Began 501(c)(3) application process; established the Interim Board; incorporated as a nonprofit corporation.

May 2021

The TIU Center proposal and budget was finalized. TIU Interim Board submitted 501(c)(3) tax exempt application.

July 2021

TIU receives first community partnership grant.

Aug-Oct 2021

TIU Center proposal presented to public and private community.

Dec 2021

TIU receives first private funding donation.

TIU hires first staff

Mar 2022

TIU makes unsuccessful bid for Social Services Appropriation funding from Utah State Legislature.
